• Lük Beautifood: Australian Made Foundation Alternative

Lük Beautifood recently released their new Instant Glow Tinted Complexion Balm. I am a huge fan of their lipstick crayons (which I previously reviewed), so was eager to try how they would go with this foundation alternative.

I tried Nude 4, Medium, which was a good match to my skin.

As someone who has tried countless foundations over the years, I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. With natural ingredients, and being made in Australia, I like the idea behind this brand, as well as the results. It’s quickly become a staple in my daily routine, and for good reason.

First and foremost, the pigmentation is incredible. It provides just the right amount of coverage to even out my skin tone, while still feeling lightweight and comfortable on my skin. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't feel heavy or cakey, even after several hours of wear.

It’s also great for someone my age, as it does not emphasise fine lines, like most other heavier coverage foundations do.

What really sets this foundation apart, however, is the fact that it's made with natural ingredients. As someone who is conscious about what I put on my skin, I appreciate that this foundation is free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances. Instead, it's packed with nourishing ingredients like Noni plant stem cells, to balance skin microbiome and combat acne-causing bacteria, and algae and plant-based carotenoids to reinforce the skin’s personal Faraday Shield and protect from digital radiation, like blue light.

I also love that this foundation is made in Australia, supporting local businesses and reducing the carbon footprint associated with international shipping. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality, natural product that delivers on both coverage and comfort.

Because it is comfortable and light, it is great for everyday wear, without irritating my sensitive skin.

I can't wait for you to try it!
