Plus Coffee & Co is a new little eatery in Flinders Lane, catering for busy workers for lunch-time snacks, and yummy drinks for those needing a pick-me-up.
I love the creativity of the menu with yummy hot and cold drinks beyond your usual coffee and tea.
The Strawberry Matcha was unexpectedly delicious. A thicker strawberry paste was at the bottom, with a refreshing iced matcha on top. Creative and delicious.
The black sesame was pretty, served like a coffee. I loved the rich sesame flavour. If you don’t drink coffee, this is a fun alternative.
They also serve a variety of toasties. The mushroom melt was with cooked mushies and melted cheese – yum. This was less creative than their other menu items, but very satisfying.
The Miso Sesame Eggplant was yum too, like a fusion take on an eggplant parma sandwich. The eggplant was battered and fried, and the miso was spicy, and nutty with the sesame. A tasty combo.
Tiramisu was so fluffy and creamy.
The coffee by V5 Coffee was strong with a zesty finish.
Plus Coffee & Co has only been open for seven months, but is starting to build a following already. If you work in the city, this is a fun spot for easy, fun take-away. Overall, recommend.
