• Australian Made Fashion - Looks I Love for Spring

The weather may still be changeable, but it is now officially the middle of Spring!

With Paris Fashion week completed at the start of the month, Melbourne designers are releasing their latest warmer weather trends.  See-through lace, frills and floral patterns, as shorts, jumpsuits and dresses.

Here are some of the styles I’m eyeing.

This outfit is super cute. The feminine frills balance the tailored cuffed shorts. The neutral colours lend to beach side relaxation. This brand designs and makes all their clothes in Australia with a focus on sustainability.

Metalics are still on trend, and this dress by Lisa Taranto is a sexy way to embrace them. This dress is perfect for a balmy evening party by the pool. All of Lisa's garments are made with small runs ethically in Australia.

Combining the metalic and floral trends, this top by Chapel Street designer Diida, gives a hint of feminine flair with a party rock chic edge. All Diida's designs are made in her Melbourne workroom. I find her dresses don't fit my body shape, but love her tops and jackets.

Dominique Healy is still one of my favourite designers of the moment. I love silk, and she uses a lot of it. She also creates fun and flattering designs that suit my body. This top screams exuberance. It can be worn different ways, letting the wearer interact and play. All of Diida's garments are made right here in Melbourne.
