• Rotiseria Vegetariana (vegetarian take-away, Buenos Aires, Argentina)

When I travel, I love to walk.  Not only do I love walking in itself, but in a new city, you can see so much more when walking from place to place.  Rotiseria Comida Vegetariana was one such discovery.  Adveturing to the park, I spotted it and since found myself craving its food every lunchtime. I was addicted.

Set up with bain-maries, this little shop offers bakes, chinese favourites, milanesas and salads.  The food is paid for by weight, and as everything is vegetarian, it is better value than taking vegetarian food from a non-vegetarian pay-by-weight restaurant.

Some of the dishes I enjoyed were the sweet and sour tofu, the sweet pumpkin and corn bake, the Sichuan eggplant and the crumbed tofu milanesa.  There is a lot of choice, which is a luxury in this meat-centric city.

The shop is open from 11:30am to 4:00pm on weekdays and only does take-away.
