Inconspicuous in the midst of Church Street, you will only find this home-style eatery if you are looking for it. My friend and I ate here on a Monday night after an energetic dance class. It was perfect for a spontaneous healthier meal. The restaurant was very quiet but the staff were pleasant and attentive – plus the food was delicious.
There are 14 vegetarian dishes on the menu, which can lead to complex decision making for vegetarians used to having their meals dictated to them by a limited menu. We ate the Phad Thai and Gang Keow Waan Puk (green curry with tofu and vegetables). Ask for the curry “hot” and they will not hold back on the chilli. Both dishes were flavoursome and packed with lots of fresh veggies.
For dessert, the banana fritter is crispy and warm served with basic vanilla ice-cream.
Curries are all under $10. I would recommend sharing so you can appreciate the full variety of the menu.
