I had not been to Cosi for a couple of years, always thinking it over priced and not that good, but it was actually very pleasant this visit.

The pesto tagliatelle was enjoyable but the stand out was definitely dessert ravioli. Sweet pastry is filled with dark couverture chocolate, the parcels are then wrapped into the shape of ravioli and fried so that you bite into the crunchy coating and your mouth is filled with the melted couverture chocolate. Served with orange blossom ice-cream, I have been dreaming about this dessert ever since.

Cosi Bar Ristorante on Urbanspoon

  1. Hi Elisa,

After reading your blog, I decided to check out Cosi with an old mate who suggested we do Italian in South Yarra.

I hadn't been to Cosi since a work lunch a few years back, but had fond memories and decided to give it a go despite being a little on the expensive side.

I ordered a lamb tagliatelle for main, which was simply devine. For dessert, I ordered the Mi Qui (which requires a 15 minute wait, but totally worth it). The Mi Qui was served with ice cream to complete the melting chocolate cake. Would recommend it to anyone.

    Thanks for the review.
