Alongside parmas and beers, Fitzroy’s Workers Club is now serving up laughs. With a splash of Melbourne sarcasm for entrée, awkward sexual endeavours for main, and big belly laughs for dessert; these comedians are, well…different. Okay, so they have worked hard their whole careers to be odd. And each has constructed a perfected tower of quirky character, for unexpected, but equally delightful humour.
Each Wednesday, in the Band Room, local funnies can finally work again. The show starts at 7:30pm and dishes up the laugh in three sets. By the end this whole Covid thing won’t seem so bad…The New Normal.
