The Champagne Dame, Kyla Kirkpatrick, is now offering free Champagne masterclasses with the winemakers.
The series kicks off today, Thursday 21 May with Rodolphe Frerejean-Tattinger from Frerejean-Frères, followed by a second class on the 4 June with Jérome Dehours from Domaine Dehours.
Each masterclass will include information on the terroir, wine-making process, history, and of course tasting discussions.

Based in the Grand Cru village of Avize, they are nestled between the rolling hills of vines in the Côte des Blancs. The chalky soil in the area produces the beautifully
mineral Chardonnay in their champagnes, a beautiful expression of terroir.

In this virtual tasting you will get to discover the Domaine Dehours, Champagne Dehors Brut Nature.
Inspired by the great Anselme Selosse, Jérome Dehours started with
organically-grown vineyards by way of expressing each of the magnificent
terroirs he has at hand. The Domaine Dehours predominantly produces Pinot
Meunier, a varietal best suited to this cooler area of Champagne, but also
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
