A hidden oasis in Hawthorn East, Zoobibi is more concept than café. It began as a dream to bring the adventures of travel into daily life. Add gorgeous homewares for sale, Padre coffee, a delightful menu, and an artistic fountain in the centre, and any memories of elsewhere are easily reached.
It is such a pretty place, you will want to linger.
The menu focuses on fresh juices, coffee and brunch.
There are the usual faves like smashed avo (which is served with fetta, dukkah, and pomegranate molasses) and sweetcorn and leek fritters with beetroot and tomato salad. I ordered this and enjoyed the salad fritter combination.
Coffee is delicious, of course, it’s Padre. But it is really the atmosphere and décor that you will come for.
There are so many beautiful trinkets that I could browse for hours. Even better, Zoobibi supports communities like SisterWorks to champion woman’s causes.
